The Details You Don’t Want to Miss

As the saying goes, it truly is all in the details. It is easy to get caught up in the fast-paced craziness of your wedding day. Sometimes it is hard to remember the small details when you are busy engaging with your guests and loved ones. An easy way to cherish the details forever is to have your photographer capture as many details as possible. Typically, your photographer will have this all under control, but here are a few that sometimes get neglected but will greatly impact your special day.

Jewelry

Everyone knows to get photos of the rings, but don’t forget to include other jewelry like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and a special hair pieces. And of course, we won’t forget about the men. Cuff links are a great addition to these detail photos.

Makeup

Even if you hire a makeup artist and the products belong to them, ask to snag it for a photo if they are using a product that is important. Many brides have done this with special lipstick. It doesn’t matter if you have high-end products, what matters is if it is something special to you.

Perfume/Cologne

This one is similar to makeup, but these scents will forever remind you of your wedding day. It’s a bonus if the scent is in a beautiful bottle.

Notes

Recently, more and more couples have participated in the shoe note trend, and it is adorable. But if you are more traditional and just exchange handwritten notes, you must include those as well. It ensures that even if the note gets lost, you will be able to know what your loved one wrote to you.

Fabrics

Whether it is worn or just used as decor, including any lace, ribbons, or other special fabric is also an important detail to photograph.
